The Start of Christ Link

In October of 2018, I (Wesley) was attending a Youth Pastor Summit in New York with the Youth Staff of our Church. On this trip were my wife and a group of friends I know and trust dearly. I graduated the previous December and had been working as a professional internet marketer for nearly a year. While my job was great and had all the perks people dream of once they graduate college, I had come to the realization that it was not the success I truly wanted in my life.

It was on this trip, my one mentor, Bob, asked me an important question, “How do you think you can use your skills to further the Church?”

I’d like to say I gave him a brilliantly calculated and thoroughly researched answer as I do on the page giving a breakdown of our philosophy on internet marketing and the church, but I didn’t. I grimaced and sighed, saying, “I have no idea”. Having looked into it a little bit before, I doubted there was a way to perform internet marketing like PPC and SEO in a way that was acceptable for the Church. Marketing , worldly marketing, is slimy, manipulative, and deceitful.

After that trip, I researched it and had discussions with other Christians in the field of marketing and web design. Most importantly, I prayed about it a lot. Finally, a breakthrough. David, another mentor of mine was discussing with me how marketing for business works and why it does not carry over to the Church. Christians should not be presenting the Gospel as a product. Knowing Christ is a relationship with God that is truly the answer to the purpose of life.

So we are not selling the Gospel, but simply reporting it. Placing the truth online and making it available for people to find Christ and to know Him. What we seek is for the "marketing" we do to be fully true and honest and to point towards Christ.

Christ Link’s Mission

Christ Link's mission is to provide free web services to Christian Organizations that are seeking to save the lost and sharing the Gospel.

Our mission is two-fold:

• First, we have the goal of providing Christian Organizations with Internet marketing and web services.
• Second, we look to utilize our interactions to help unify the body of Christ. Through our team training process, collaboration and group meetups we have an opportunity for Christians from a variety of backgrounds to come together to help each other and work towards our common goal.

1) Providing Christian Organizations With Internet Marketing

We aim to provide free church website design, social media marketing and internet marketing for Churches and Christian organizations. With our experience in professional search engine optimization, website design, social media management, PPC advertising, content marketing, local SEO, and a wide variety of internet marketing, we can equip your Christian Non-Profit. We also use our knowledge to train and equip your team. 

2) Unifying The Church

Through our training and equipping we want to utilize this service as a way to connect Churches and unify the body of Christ. Because a body only works when everything is functioning correctly. As Christians, we know firsthand how disunity tears down Church ministries and truly the entire body of Christ. If we are not unified in our mission how can we hope to succeed? Through our services, and our team training we have a strategic church online setup process that is designed to not only assist unity in your church but to help foster unity and community between Churches and Christian organizations.

Seeking God’s Plan

I know these are lofty goals and a mission that many would speculate as a fool's errand providing services for free, but we take Christ’s calling to heart. We know God wants the Church unified, God wants us to use our skills to glorify him and God wants the lost to turn to Him and accept Christ’s sacrifice. 

This goal is not a fool's errand as long as we make sure every action lines up with God’s will. This can only be done through prayer, and I pray you to join us in helping to unify the Church, in the great commission to go to the ends of the earth teaching, baptizing, and obeying in Jesus Christ’s name.
