This newsletter update is going to be a little bit different than our typical monthly newsletter. That is because our meetup was different this month. We had our team of volunteers over at my house (Wesley’s House). We had a great dinner and discussed next year and this past year. It was such a fun time, and we are excited about what is in store for Christ Link.
Let’s look at this upcoming spring, and then we will dive into what is happening right now.
Next Year’s Trainings & Team Workshops
Because we are partnering with CMTS’s Equip program, we need to sway our annual trainings to start in August of 2023. We want to keep growing over the spring, so we will be having an abridged semester of year 1 trainings while the Christ Link Team (year 2 and above) will be having workshops. The nonprofits we work with will also have a large scale team meeting where everyone is together, and we work on a wide variety of marketing strategies and platforms.
Below is a breakdown of 2023’s spring trainings, meetups & workshops.

Join Christ Link In 2023
If you are interested in learning web design, digital marketing, general design, or writing to rank on Google while serving God to reach the lost, you should contact us! Our trainings are in person and you would only be required to attend our “Year 1” trainings. If you can’t join this spring, consider joining us in August when we have our year of trainings start again.
What We Are Working On This Winter At Christ Link
We technically have a winter break at Christ Link. During this time, we produce less content, do not have trainings, and spend time with our families. We also spend time preparing for next year.
Right now, we will be reviewing the trainings and improving them for our spring year 1 team members. We will also be renewing our website. Because we received so much traffic 3 years ago when the website was built, we’ve entirely neglected our own website because we could not handle more nonprofits or churches.
What The Christ Link Team Will Be Working On This Spring
Our team members will be working on a variety of tasks and team building. We will continue to work with and help the nonprofits we work with, but we will also be developing more advanced trainings that are focused on specific skills.
Our team will also be working together on improving communication and processes within our team. As our team grows, communication must improve and develop. We will be creating processes for team management, so we can continue to grow and streamline processes and projects so we can be more and more efficient.
A New Nonprofit We Are Partnering With
We are so excited to be partnering with This Little Light Ministries this Spring. We will be working with them on a new website as well as training them on marketing/web design so they can more effectively manage their online presence. Be sure to take a look at This Little Light Ministries and their mission to reach the lost through the school they partner with in the Dominican Republic.
Speaking At Churches This Spring
Our board members will also be preparing to visit churches and speak about what Christ Link is doing. We will be recruiting more team members and preparing to have a larger group of year 1 trainees in the 2023-2024 year. If you know of a church we should speak at, definitely let us know!
How You Can Be Praying For Christ Link In 2023
All the changes, meetings, and work above is a lot, and we are all volunteers. Pray that we are dedicated to the work at hand, and we recognize the big picture and the high impact each and every action has.
Pray that our teams grow at a rate that allows for us to grow in unity. Sometimes too many cooks in the kitchen can create its own challenges. We want to grow and manage ourselves in a way that results in many hands making light work.
