Fall 2020 Newsletter

This newsletter update is going to be a bit shorter and to the point. Why? First, because I actually already wrote this once and then technical difficulties happened and deleted everything I wrote which was quite upsetting. The other reason is that we’ve started posting updates on social media! That is something for you. If you have ever talked to me about marketing you’ll hear me say, “I am not a huge social media fan.” That is because in business I’ve seen how effective optimizing a website is and, I personally am not a huge social media guy. But we know it is important to keep you up to date with what we are doing and we want you to be informed on all the Christ Link happenings.

Why We Want You To Know What is Happening at Christ Link

We need prayer and lots of it! We need you to be praying that we would use our skills wisely and effectively to bring glory to God. We also want you to know what we are doing so you can potentially join our team. At the moment that is a huge focus and prayer request. We want to grow as a team so we can increase our impact and help more and more Christian organizations reach and save the lost.

This Fall At Christ Link

Internally we’ve launched the CMTS website! This was a huge deal for CMTS because it is now saving them money monthly and because of the form setup, they are also saving so much more time. We launched the website before they had content ready simply because of how much money and time it would save them. They just have a few empty pages that are under construction at the moment.

We’ve also been working on our largest project redesigning ICII’s website. We’ve broken ground and are starting to knock out large sections of the site. Definitely check out the video that goes over a part of that process.

Our team helped in both of these projects from developing out some of the blog pages to assisting in creating title tags and meta descriptions. I can’t wait to see what our team will look like since I have been at the drawing board determining our structure and set up for the coming year! So exciting! We’ll keep you posted here.

Our past two team training focused on Google Analytics and client management. These both surprisingly go hand in hand and are vital to being an effective internet marketer. In dealing with websites and a large amount of data the most important thing is being able to communicate the information in a tangible way to a person who does not know or understand Google Analytics or internet marketing.

Our Board

Our board has everything ready to go to get our 501(c)3 nonprofit application submitted, except there is one holdup. It’s me (Wesley), I’m the holdup. Truly I simply have to edit and tweak the application, pay the government $600, and boom our application is submitted. But at the moment I’m nervous something might be wrong with it and I am definitely stalling. So I need to get over myself and just apply already! Don’t worry, by the time I write our next update in January/February it will definitely be submitted.
