We got a few warm days this month and the Christ Link team is warming up in our trainings. The training was focused on Marketing 101 where we broke apart marketing as a whole and took a step back to see the whole forest (since you can’t see the forest through the trees.
This month our board also discussed potential people to join our board and started discussing planning for this year’s goals.
Prayer Requests
As always we like to open with our prayer requests. A lot of them will be similar to last month’s so let us continue to be praying for God to use our organization and for him to be a the forefront of everything we do.
Praises/Answered Prayers:
- We have been praying for team members and after speaking at our local church there were a lot of people who joined! Our team is definitely at max capacity for the 2022 year. We are excited for these team members to grow in their skills and to develop the Christ Link team.
February 2022 prayer requests:
- Pray for our board to grow. Pray for effective followers of Christ to be put in place on the Christ Link Board that can help further the mission of Christ Link.
- Wisdom for our board as we make decisions and plan for developing 2023 fundraising, team events, overall growth, and sustainability.
- Pray for finances to purchase supplies like paper and ink or fliers. We will need these since we plan to go to churches and speak about Christ Link. (Donate to Christ Link!)
- For wisdom for our board as we are growing and developing quickly and must grow and develop our program as well.
- Pray for God to be developing leaders within the Christ Link team.
- Pray for the nonprofits we work with to be blessed and to grow.
February’s Meetup: Marketing 101
Marketing 101 is probably my favorite training to do. This is because I am essentially summarizing my 4 years of college and it takes a step back to view the big picture of marketing.
A lot of people feel overwhelmed when they hear the Marketing 101 training. The best part about it is when they realize they don’t have to do everything. Ministry Highlight: CMTS Ministries
CMTS Ministries is one of the first ministries that we worked with. They have existed for over 30 years and have been providing technical services for missionaries all over the place. Their ministry saw a large-scale growth through how they have been managing their social media and their blog posts. By effectively organizing and updating their donors they have been growing their marketing and nonprofit.
