Last month we had such a successful workshop that we continued our work on keyword research and developed our focus and efforts in writing content for our nonprofits.
This Christ Link team members workshopped the process of writing and developing blog posts. Additionally, the design team is working on recording interviews to show more of what Christ Link is doing. These interviews will also serve to promote the nonprofits we work with as well as interest more volunteers in 2023. Consider joining Christ Link in 2023!
Our May Prayer Requests
As always we like to open with our prayer requests. A lot of them will be similar to last month’s so let us continue to be praying for God to use our organization and for him to be at the forefront of everything we do.
May 2022 prayer requests:
- Pray for our board to grow. We had several people sit in on this month’s board meeting to see if Christ Link is the area that God is calling them to serve in. They will let us know this summer if they feel this is where they should be.
- Wisdom for our board as we make decisions and plan for developing 2023 fundraising, team events, overall growth, and sustainability.
- Pray for finances to purchase supplies like paper and ink or fliers. We will need these since we plan to go to churches and speak about Christ Link. (Donate to Christ Link!)
- Praise that a printer/copier has been donated!
- Praise for having received support and donations this month from CEF of Schuylkill County!
- Pray for God to be developing leaders within the Christ Link team. Also, He would put people in place on the teams where they are needed and where they should be serving.
- Pray for the nonprofits we work with to be blessed and to grow in their marketing and online presence.
- As the team develops in training and skills that they would work in unity. As we grow we want to make sure there is unity between our team members and different teams. Everyone is presently getting along and having fun working to grow Christian organizations’ websites, we want our team’s roots to grow deep and for there to always be unity between team members.
May’s Meetup: Content Writing
As mentioned in the introduction, we workshopped blog posts and interviews with our team members and nonprofits.
While the writing team, web design team, and different nonprofits worked on their content writing, the design team worked on interviewing team members and non profits.
May’s Board Meeting
This month’s board meeting was open to several potential board members who were invited to observe and ask questions to see if this would be a ministry they would like to serve in for the next year.
The current board members felt encouraged by the flow of the meeting and the updates while the potential board members added great input that allowed the board to streamline future plans.
The board discussed finances and altering the Christ Link calendar year and spent some time describing Christ Link to the potential board members. This was a really positive and encouraging meeting as the current board members got to recount what made them join Christ Link and how much Christ Link has grown in the last two years!
What Non Profits Do We Work With?
I’m glad you asked. Christ Link supports Christian organizations that are focused on sharing the gospel. We do this because we want to prioritize sharing the gospel over everything. While a lot of the organizations we help perform the great commission in different ways, you can see their focus and hard work in reaching the lost.
